About

Gordian Surgical is the developer of the TroClose 1200, an integrated port closure system offering surgeons a simple, secure, and safe solution for opening and suturing closed the abdominal wall during laparoscopic procedures. The device is compatible with all types of trocars. Instead of inserting closure sutures into the fascia at the end of a procedure, Gordians uniquely designed two in one obturator and cannula efficiently inserts absorbable sutures into the peritoneal tissue surrounding the cannula at the beginning of the procedure. Two absorbable anchors hold the suture in place, and when the cannula is removed, the surgeon can close the fascia by simply tying the TroClose 1200 sutures together.
