About
Freemius is a full-stack monetization and analytics platform designed specifically for developers of digital products, particularly those built on WordPress. It acts as a merchant of record, processing payments, managing subscriptions, handling tax compliance, and ensuring secure delivery of software updates. The platform supports one-time purchases, recurring subscriptions, freemium models, and free trials, and has expanded beyond WordPress to support broader SaaS and desktop-app markets. Freemius aims to empower software creators with enterprise-grade tools without the need for large engineering teams or expensive infrastructure.
