Eye-Net Protect is a cellular-based V2X accident prevention solution designed to save lives and reduce traffic accidents. The mobile app can alert vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, scooter riders) and vehicles about oncoming collisions through the use of smartphones and existing cellular infrastructure (3G and above). The intuitive app continuously tracks the users location and trajectory, processing and analyzing data to provide increased road awareness and safety. Eye-Net Protect relies on proprietary technology and algorithms that allow operation in low-resource environments and provide real-time alerts to a mass-market user base. The Eye-Net Protect solution expands the capabilities of traditional advanced driver assistance systems by covering side-aspect (beyond line-of-sight) collisions and providing alerts and informative notifications to protect vulnerable road users at both high and low speeds, allowing them to take an active part in preventing accidents.
