About

EcoS develops genetically engineered proteins that exhibit specific toxicity to the fruit fly but are environmentally and animal-friendly. EcoS formulation in microparticles and/or nanoparticles contains, among other things, a small and non-toxic protein derived from an environmentally friendly bacterium. The formulation will be given by spray or emulsion in the ground near the trees and will be designed to attract and eliminate sexually mature females.
