Dotan-Lysis develops an electric cell lysis technology that enhances the efficiency of anaerobic digestion in biogas production. The system applies precisely shaped electrical pulses to organic waste streams, disrupting cellular structures and accelerating microbial breakdown. Operating at less than 3 watts per gallon, it significantly reduces energy consumption compared to traditional methods. This approach increases biogas yield, eliminates odors, and neutralizes pathogens, making it suitable for applications in wastewater treatment, livestock waste management, and organic waste processing. The technology has been successfully implemented in anaerobic digesters handling various types of organic waste.
