About

DigiFlex has developed a technology that enables very high resolution printing on virtually any substrate. The DigiFlex FlexoJet 1725 is an inkjet-based computer-to-plate (CtP) solution for various printing applications, including flexography, letterpress, screen, dry offset, pad, and magnesium. The system allows analog plate materials to be digitally imaged, which reduces initial and ongoing costs. The DigiFlex solution consists of a high-precision printing device, software, and a bi-component ink to create an opaque mask directly on top of the plate, replacing the need for film, imagesetter, and all of the related chemical processing steps and equipment. After the image mask is created on top of the plate, exposure and processing of the plate remains unchanged from current processes, resulting in minimal disruption to prepress production routines. The companys acquisition by PV Nano Cell in 2017 keeps it as a wholly-owned subsidiary to oversee development, manufacturing and distribution of the DigiFlex Flexojet printing systems.
