About
DenTack Implants offers the Pyramidion implant system: ultra-short pyramid-shaped expandable implants, which are a simple, safe, and effective alternative to bone augmentation procedures in both the maxilla and the mandible. The Pyramidion performs as a conventional longer implant (10 mm) with the following features: four titanium membranes spread out during expansion to enlarge the outer surface and the total bone-to-implant contact area; an error-free expansion mechanism that creates the pyramid shape (instead of the standard cylinder shape) to allow for better distribution of chewing forces on the implant structure; and a patented snap-back mechanism that prevents over-expansion of the implant's apical area and excess pressure on the surrounding bone. This apical fixation enables maximal utilization of the supporting bone, improving the implant's mechanical performance under immediate loading conditions, with quicker treatment and faster "time to teeth." The Pyramidion dental implant system is ISO 13485 certified. In addition, all of the products comprising the Pyramidion solution hold FDA 510(k) and CE clearance and comply with medical device directive 93/42/EEC.
