About

PathKeeper has developed a real-time spinal navigation system that provides physicians with a high level of surgical accuracy. The system incorporates a proprietary 3D camera that tracks each vertebra and the surgeon's tools throughout the procedure. The images are analyzed using an AI and deep-learning algorithm software that integrates them with a pre-surgery CT scan. The system continuously adjusts the anatomical map to reflect spinal movement and surgeon manipulation to enable physicians to achieve sub-millimeter accuracy for optimal surgical outcomes.

The PathKeeper system enables physicians to carry out spinal procedures without having to pause for input from CT scans or flash photographs that support the navigation system. After a quick 30-second calibration and another 30-second registration process, the surgeon can begin the procedure.

The PathKeeper platform offers pre-surgery planning, and throughout the procedure, the navigation system continuously updates the anatomical map in real time without affecting the operation's workflow.

PathKeeper Surgical received its FDA 510k clearance for the PathKeeper system.
