Convergin assists carriers realize true Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) and accelerate their networks evolution to IMS. By utilizing Convergin's Wireless Convergence Server, service providers accelerate their evolution towards IMS while enabling seamless orchestration of mobile, legacy and next generation core network elements. Since 2001, Convergin has deployed its solutions in wireless and wireline service providers worldwide, enabling a wide range of protocols in the core of the network and allowing service providers to expand their capabilities to new domains. Oracle has acquired Convergin in 2010. Adding Convergin products to Oracle Communications portfolio is expected to enable customers with next-generation solutions to address network migration to an all IP core, significantly reducing integration and hardware costs. This combination is expected to accelerate deployment of next-generation pre-paid and value-added services in the communications industry.
