Convergent R.N.R. (CRNR) is an Israeli medical startup that has developed MercyBeam, a new X-ray-focusing technology. This patented technology uses a standard imaging X-ray source to form a converging beam into a treatment volume, rather than a diverging one. The aim is to make radiotherapy treatment more accurate and safe, sparing healthy organs and cells. Convergent R.N.R. employs advanced Monte Carlo radiation transport simulations and scalable HPC workflows to accelerate development of the Convergent Bragg Lens radiation platform.
