About

Candle Touch has developed connected scented candles designed to be ignited and extinguished via smartphone. Any iOS or Android device can control this mood-lighting technology through the Candle Touch app. The candle includes a Bluetooth-connected holder, real wax, and an actual wick that burns. The wax is replaceable, with several scents to choose from, and the base is charged through a USB cable. The Candle Touch candle is ignited on command by the user via smartphone, which prompts two metal rods in the holder to create a spark. Users can also extinguish the flame with the app, which controls the candle cover. Users can even blow into their smartphones microphone to extinguish the flame. In addition, the candles are automatically extinguished if the associated smartphone leaves a designated radius.
