About
Bio-Pel is a coating technology for minerals and aggregates that enables the encapsulation and slow release of essential oils for use as natural pesticides.
The technology is a generic vehicle that can carry a variety of plant-extracted oils targeting a large variety of insects. Each synergized essential oil combination is designed to target specific insects, fungi, bacteria, or molds and can be implemented in heavy aggregates such as sand; powders such as calcium carbonate; light aggregates such as vermiculite; or unique sachets that encase the loaded aggregates and allow vapors to defuse.
