About

Avisco is a biotechnology company introducing Inula viscosa from the wild for cultivation as a standardized crop. The company specializes in Inula viscosa cultivation, processing, extraction, production, standardization, and quality control for a wide range of proprietary herbal therapeutic and skincare formulations. Avisco holds patents for its technology and products such as AIVOREX, a standardized Inula viscosa oleo resin extract, as well as the intellectual property rights to unpublished studies and Inula viscosa extract applications. Avisco also developed a nontoxic preservative, for use in skincare products and deodorants, and an Inula viscosa extract-based marine anti-fouling coating, which is nontoxic to marine life and friendly to the aquatic environment. This product offers an alternative to heavy-metal-based anti-fouling coatings banned worldwide for their damage to marine life. The company was the first place winner of the global GC3 Challenge for Novel Green Preservatives.
