Ascento Medical is a digital health company developing solutions for treating and preventing dementia and Alzheimer's disease by using artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize a proven treatment method.
Over the past few years, several thousand patients have been treated using a diagnosis and treatment method developed by Professor Eli Wertman, a behavioral neurologist of the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. In order to upscale the use of this method, Ascento Medical is currently developing an AI-powered solution based on key information extracted from hundreds of medical files of previously treated patients, enabling the company to provide dementia patients with a treatment plan that can be implemented by their doctors.
Ascento Medical's solution provides relief for HMOs by reducing the average cost per patient by significantly decreasing hospitalization rates, while also providing an advanced solution that enables clinicians to generate personalized treatment programs for dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
