The Aqueduct device combines the advantages of rod dilation and laminaria, and enables radial dilation within minutes. The device iseasy to operate and enables a fast dilation procedure. It also increases the accuracy and safety of the procedure by eliminating dilation failure. Using asingle insertion through the cervix, the Aqueduct device reduces the risk of infection, perforation, and cervical incompetence. The device also reduces the need for localor general anesthesia.
