Perifect develops devices for pericardial and epicardial therapies. The company's first device, the PeriCardioScope, is a safe, video-guided pericardial access device. It consists of a handheld device and a desktop console with a video display. The device combines two main features: a video-based navigation to the pericardium without harming adjacent organs and a suction mechanism for safe penetration into the pericardial space. Both of these elements are key to successful access into the pericardial space.
