BLOWPHISH specializes in developing solutions to prevent drowning. Its swimwear product consists of a compact personal floatation device (PFD) concealed in what looks like a regular swimsuit. In the event of an emergency, swimmers can pull out the PFD to inflate it. The project was originally conceived in 2014. The company has a working and patented prototype and is currently developing a more sophisticated, fully automatic mechanism.
