Abracadabra aims to develop socially assistive robotics (SAR) technology. At the first stage of the company, Abracadabra will develop a cost-effective platform, based on the SAR concept, that will give stroke survivors an intensive, engaging activity platform to assist in the rehabilitation process, for use at-home or in an assisted-living context. Stroke survivors will be able to interact with various connected devices within their living environment, while the robotic technology will use artificial intelligence to accommodate and encourage individuals based on their ad-hoc and long-term needs. Abracadabra Social Interaction Assistant seeks to provideconstant companionship, guide the user for self-management, and develop intrinsic compliance.
