Udi Peless was born in 1957. He is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. Mr. Peless is the first CEO of Biosense Medical Devices. Under his management, the company was sold in 1997 to Johnson & Johnson for $427m, a deal, which at the time, was the largest exit in the Israeli hi-tech ecosystem. The company is still operating today as BioSense Webster, and is located in Yokneam, Israel. Mr. Peless was also the founder and CEO of Friendly Robotics/Robomow, which designs and manufactures Robomow robotic lawn mowers. The company was sold to MTD Products INC. in 2017 for $50m. The company still operates an R&D and manufacturing site in Pardesia, Israel. In the early 1990s, Mr. Peless co-founded Tap Systems, a software company focused on Automated Aircraft Route Planning. The company was sold to BVR. Earlier, Mr. Peless worked 4 years at Elbit Systems as a marketing manager and 3 years in South Africa as a technology consultant. Mr. Peless is investing in pre-seed and seed rounds. He investing in any venture with a significant TAM, a great team of founders. He does have some inclination towards consumer, B2C and B2B2C, ventures and ventures with social impact in addition to the business potential.
