About

The Galilee Accelerator for Smart Industry is a program dedicated to early-stage Israeli start-ups, developing solutions and business models to transform the manufacturing sector. The program is managed by Braude Academic College of Engineering in Karmiel together with the KLA, Philips, i4valley, and the municipalities of Karmiel, Misgav and Beit Hakerem. The accelerator is focused on start-ups targeting manufacturers as customers, as part of the innovation wave called Industry 4.0. This includes advanced technologies in manufacturing, maintenance, factory management, supply chain, logistics, and more. The accelerator seeks entrepreneurs and start-ups in the pre-seed to seed stages, before the growth phase We have two cohorts a year - wave1 for the super early stage - even with just an idea, before market validation. Then wave2 - for startups with some initial progress: an MVP (Minimal Viable Product) or prototype, a team, and at least some initial validation with customers.
