Ran Oz is a serial entrepreneur and technologist. He serves as an executive chairman and is a Co-founder at EquityX. He is best known for being a successful entrepreneur and investor in the Israeli ecosystem. Before co-founding EquityX, Oz co-founded and served as a Board Member and the CTO of Wochit, before becoming only a Board Member.
Ran Oz is also the founder and owner of Oz Labs, an investment company, through which he has invested in several founding teams and start-up, which are now at different stages. He has helped those startups to build their team, connect the founders, and mentor them.
Previously, he co-founded and served as a Board Member, CTO, and Executive Vice President of BigBand Networks, which had an IPO of $750M in 2007. Before his time there, Ran co-founded Peach Networks, which was acquired by Microsoft for $80M. Prior to that endeavor, Oz co-founded Optibase and VCON.
Today, he is an active angel investor, with investments in Serendip Media, Accells Technologies, and Rimoto.
