Predix, by General Electric Digital, is a platform that allows software developers and entrepreneurs to design solutions for various industrial internet markets. Selected apps and microservices will be included in the Predix Catalog (predix.io), enabling start-up companies to commercialize their solutions with GE as a partner.
The Predix Start-ups program in Herzliya, Israel, is designed to help selected Israeli companies build industry-specific analytics apps. The program includes a training workshop focused on the required tools to develop apps and microservices for Predix, such as Cloud Foundry, UX/UI standards, secured authentication, and more.
The program also allows start-ups to engage with GE domain experts and customers to learn best practices of selling to sectors such as healthcare, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Start-ups also have the opportunity to participate in the global economics of the industrial internet by integrating their solutions into the GE Predix Catalog.
