The Ocean Tech community connects academic & research organizations, innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, industry and government, all working together to expand the knowledge of the oceans and help advance ways to collaborate in the field of ocean related innovation. The goals of the Ocean Tech community are:
-Assist in the development of an ecosystem in the field of Ocean Tech.
-Coordination between the various factors (academia, research, industry, government, investors, startups), creating maximum value for the advancement of the field, developing a leading and international innovation industry in Israel.
-Promoting the different ocean tech verticals including: biotechnology, aquaculture, marine agriculture, shipping & Trade, energy, climate, infrastructure, deep sea, ocean life and more.
-Creating opportunities and connections to strengthen entrepreneurs, startups, industry, government, academia and investors.
-Promoting knowledge transfer, trust, collaborations and creating business opportunities.
