Israel Investment Partners (IIP) is a private equity firm focused on infrastructure investments. Its debut fund, IIP I, is a $350 million fund targeting investments in Israel.
The fund, which aims to facilitate foreign investments in Israel, focuses on the local infrastructure sector, with interest in domains including defense, communications, energy, power and renewables, transportation, utilities, and water.
IIP intends to pursue a focused investment mandate in targeted infrastructure sectors, with a mix of BOT, Core+, Core and PPP (Public-Private Partnership) infrastructure investments. The Fund intends to deploy the majority of its capital in assets located in Israel (80% or greater).
IIP will generally target fund equity investments of $15-$35m, and expects to have the ability to executive larger transactions by offering co-investment opportunities to limited partners, a staple of IIP's strategy.
IIP focuses on large scale investments in assets that provide essential services, have high barriers to entry and offer significant governance positions. IIP targets opportunities predominantly in Israel while maintaining a global perspective and the flexibility to pursue high-quality assets with the potential for attractive risk-adjusted returns.
