EnergyCom, the Israeli energy innovation community, was initiated by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Israel Innovation Authority. It is being operated by two private, not-for-profit organizations: Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy and the Israeli Smart Energy Association. The community's mission is to position Israel as a leader in the changing energy market, expand local energy research, support new venture and jobs creation, improve the local energy market, and contribute to Israels sustainable economic growth.
