Enel X Israel Innovation represents the activities of Enel X, the global business line of the Enel Group, dedicated to advanced energy services and digital solutions, within the Israeli tech ecosystem. Enel established its first innovation hub in Tel Aviv in 2016 to collaborate with Israeli startups. This presence expanded with the inauguration of the FinSec Innovation Lab in Be'er Sheva in 2021, a joint initiative with Mastercard and the Israeli government, focusing on fintech and cybersecurity. Enel X actively scouts, partners with, and invests in promising Israeli startups, such as its participation in the seed funding round of cybersecurity firm LayerX Security. The group also launched the Enel AI&Robotics Lab in Tel Aviv in 2022, dedicated to AI and robotics in renewables and power grids.
