Ehud Barak is a business entrepreneur involved with global PE firms and consults to leading Hedge Funds. He is also an angel investor, involved in Cyber Security and Homeland Security Investments and startups. He has served on InterCures board of directors as Chairman since March 2019. He also currently serves on the board of three other Israeli companies: Carbyne, Guardicore and Cypertoka. Mr. Barak served as the tenth Prime Minister of Israel from 1999 to 2001. Before being elected Prime Minister, he completed a 36-year career in the IDF. He has served in top positions in the IDF, including Head of Planning, Head of Military Intelligence, Commander of the Central Command and Deputy Chief of General Staff. As Chief of the General Staff of the IDF, he was involved in the negotiation and implementation of the 1994 peace treaty with Jordan. He has also served Israel as Minister of the Interior, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense Minister. Mr. Barak holds a B.S. degree in mathematics and physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and received his M.S.C in economic engineering systems from Stanford University. Since September 2016, he has served as Senior Fellow non-resident at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University.
