Dr. Almagor is an engineer by training and a serial high-tech entrepreneur. Following a senior executive career in large US technology companies, he has co-founded a few deep technology startups. 3 of them (Mysticom, Panoramic Power, Presenso) have made it to nice exits. David serves as chairman, board member or adviser in a few companies in various market verticals. He is also an active angel investor.
David has taught entrepreneurship at Afeka Tel-Aviv College of Engineering, and continuously mentors young entrepreneurs and helps their ventures get off the ground. He occasionally writes on high-tech entrepreneurship in various digital media.
Dr. Almagor is an author of more than 70 publications and a co-author of 5 US and 1 UK patents. He holds several university degrees: PhD EE and M.S.EE from the University of California San Diego and B.S.EE from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
