Adi Pundak-Mintz is aventure capitalist, entrepreneur, angel investor, advisor, and mentor.He is considered an expert in B2B software companies, with Low-Touch and SaaS business models.
Mr. Pundak-Mintz is currently serving as a managing partner at BG7 Ventures, a joint fund of Ben Gurion University and its TTO, BGN Technologies, which invests in high-tech, biotech and social ventures by students and graduates of the university. He is the founder and VP Corporate Development at Model9, a mainframe data management software company, that provides backup, recovery, archive, space management, replication, data security, and regulatory compliance on-premises and in the cloud.
Until June 2018, he was a venture partner at Canaan Partners Israel. Earlier in his career, he worked as an engineer at ECI Telecom, and prior to it, he held business development and software development positions at Nexus Telecommunications. He also served as a principal at Neurone Venture Capital and as a lead partner for software investments at Gemini Israel Funds for 14 years.
In addition to these roles, he currently serves as a chairperson at Nym, as member of the advisory board, supporter, and co-investor of 2B-Community - Impact Investing, and as an advisor to Centrical (formerly Game Effective).
