The ADAMA Health-Tech Accelerator at Samson Assuta Ashdod Hospital, that was created in collaboration with eHealth Ventures incubator, is a 10 weeks intensive program designed to support hospital staff in their efforts to develop, test and implement new approaches to improve health care quality, efficiency and delivery. Working closely with mentors from high tech companies, tech incubators and academic institutions, this program offers Assuta Ashdods entrepreneurs the knowledge, tools and guidance to promote their innovation and advance their idea from inception to bringing successful innovations to scale. The ADAMA Health-Tech Accelerator is also opened to medical projects from outside the hospital to participate, establishing the program as southern Israels medical entrepreneurship hub. The Department of Innovation and Medical Entrepreneurship at the Assuta Ashdod Hospital works to promote changes in the health system in general and in the hospital in particular, in various issues such as internal and external organizational processes, technological development and research. The department promotes networking based on the diversity of professionals from different fields and working in integrated multidisciplinary teams to promote and develop ideas.
