WisePhone is a mobile application designed to turn any complex smartphone into an accessible, user-friendly phone tailored to the senior population. WisePhones purpose is simple: to adapt any smartphone to be easily used by the elderly instead of needing to purchase a device specifically designed for seniors. WisePhone offers many useful features, including a large, easy-to-read interface; easily operated touch buttons that emulate push buttons; the option of beginning each call at maximum speaker volume for the hard of hearing; and a convenient, intuitive speed-dial list for contacts. The app also features a sophisticated S.O.S. system that sends an alert containing the users exact location to predesignated contacts in the event of an emergency.
