Connecting Seniors to a Support System
Vitalitix offers an online platform designed to enhance seniors quality of life by reducing their sense of loneliness, improving their safety, and allowing them to stay independent indoors and outdoors. The companys Crowd Caring platform is a cloud-based solution providing online interaction services and active volunteering for busy people. When seniors need assistance, they can press a button on their connected device to be connected to their designated family member or caregiver. If the caregiver is not available, they can send a request for one of Vitalitixs social angel volunteers located near the senior. A list of available social angels is then listed on the caregivers app, and the chosen angel is contacted and connected in a three-way call with the senior and caregiver to discuss details of the assistance needed.
