ViewEat is multilingual, intuitive search engine for restaurants and menus all around the world. ViewEat enables users to filter their searches by geographic location, restaurant type, and cuisine, as well as for a wide range of dietary considerations, including medical concerns, religious practices, healthy food awareness, and ideological issues.
ViewEats intuitive visual labeling system is based on traffic lights and road signs, and allows users to determine whether a food item contains any ingredients they would like to avoid. A red octagon indicates the presence of a particular ingredient, a yellow square signifies that there may be traces of that ingredient present and that caution should be taken, and a green circle with a diagonal confirms that a product is free of the ingredient and safe to eat.
