Nano Traps for Destroying Viruses
Vecoy Nanomedicines administers novel nano-scale virus traps that capture and destroy viruses. The traps mimic human host cells to serve as virus decoys. Unlike existing antiviral treatments that target infected human cells, the patent-pending Vecoy technology targets the viruses before a cellular infection takes place. Furthermore, Vecoy has the potential to address the two major challenges of current medication: virus resistance to treatment and toxicity effects.
