Vascular Graft Solutions (VGS) develops technologies to improve surgical revascularization, vascular reconstruction procedures, and arteriovenous fistulas.
The company's portfolio includes VEST, an external support for vein grafts in coronary artery bypass surgery, and FRAME, an external support for vein grafts in peripheral revascularization and reconstruction procedures. These devices are designed to target the underlying factors leading to saphenous vein graft disease, including disturbed flow pattern and high wall tension, diameter mismatch between the graft and the hosting artery, and, in particular, progression of intimal hyperplasia.
VEST received CE mark approval in 2014 and is commercialized in international markets. FRAME received CE mark approval in late 2017 and is commercialized for several indications, including above- and below-the-knee bypass surgeries and peripheral aneurysm repair.
Ongoing IDE-approved studies are being conducted in leading centers in the United States and Canada toward the commercialization of VGS products in the United States. VGS has additional pipeline products in various stages of research and development.
