About

Discover Places and Events

Townfrog is a content curator which helps people search, discover and select the best art, entertainment and recreation places as well as events nearby. Our mission is to unify and simplify the search for the user and give local businesses a cost-effective acquisition channel to reach their audiences. By creating a rich, structured and personalized local exploration graph, while embracing a new design approach we deliver a single source of information, boosted engagement and a solution to the paradox of choice. Unlike our competitors who offer a fragmented and non-personalized experience, Townfrog is a one-stop mobile-first platform for going out. We are a Systems Architect and a Product Manager and have known each other for 14 years. We are also avid users of non-navigational LBS. We are located in Berlin, our business operations headquarter, and in Tel-Aviv, our R&D branch. Our connections in the UK, Canada, Germany, Israel, Russia and Austria give us an advantage for scaling and internationalization.
