The companys telematics cybersecurity solution for connected and autonomous cars is composed of three products: the ECUSHIELD for in-vehicle detection and mitigation; the TCUSHIELD for secure communication with the internet; and the Cybersecurity Dashboard for security information, event management, and remote over-the-air software updates. The solution safeguards, alerts, and protects against out-of-bounds attacks, such as those exploiting cellular channels, and prevents vehicle cyberattacks.
TowerSec was acquired by Harman International Industries in 2016. In 2017, Harman became a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Ltd.
