About

Carbon Nanotube Mats and Fibers

Tortech develops and industrializes a patented process for the manufacture of ultra-long carbon nanotube (CNT) mats and fibers for a wide range of commercial applications. Tortech's CNT mats and fibers are composed solely of pure ultra-long CNTs without any addition of binders, making them lightweight, corrosion resistant, and highly conductive. They are used in a variety of applications, including electromagnetic interference shielding, conductive ultrafiltration membranes, energy storage, armor, and heat management systems.

Tortech Nano Fibers was founded in 2010 as a joint venture between Plasan Sasa Ltd (Israel) and Q-Flo Ltd (United Kingdom), a spin-out company from Cambridge University.
