Tendermind is an app designed to help children and adults with special needs manage their daily routines, schedules, and tasks, and to cope better with unplanned schedule changes and transitions between activities.
The app is installed on at least two devices and has two interfaces, one for the parent or admin (admin) and one for the child or adult with special needs (end-user). The parent uses their admin app to set up, program, and maintain the end-user’s schedule, tasks, and alerts. The end-user uses their app to view, (optionally hear), and interact with their schedule, tasks, and alerts.
Tendermind is intended for people who are neurologically diverse (such as autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and ADHD), or with cognitive challenges (such as intellectual developmental disability and other cognitive disabilities).
