Products for Storing, Carrying and Tracking Medication
TempraMed developed a patent protected technology that can be used in a wide range of Medical/Consumer products, providing temperature control without need for power source or human intervention for years and additionally track medication use. TempraMed already sells products to the first vertical, addressing the need to provide temperature control and management to temperature sensitive injectable medications such as Insulin, EpiPen, Biologics, Hormone, to patients worldwide – a growing market opportunity.
TempraMed’ s product addresses the need of patients, HCP, and payors to make sure medications are tracked and controlled to maintain their potency. While initial target customers for the products are the patients as the products become the standard, they will be adopted by the payors and pharmaceutical companies. The technology used allow the products to be very small and lightweight.
Its smart thermal shield combines a unique ultrahigh vacuum thermal insulation and a small amount of heat absorbing phase change material and uses our unique thermal design. This combination blocks and absorbs heat during the entire day time, and releases the absorbed heat back to the environment overnight, regaining its heat absorbing capacity for the following day, without any intervention.
