Tejas customers include telecom carriers who provide voice as well as new-generation data services to end-users as we well enterprise customers. These carriers are spread across verticals like telecom, utilities, media as well as defence.Tejas product portfolio includes products based on next-generation SDH/SONET, Carrier Ethernet and WDM technologies and are seamlessly managed by an intelligent network management system. In 2010, Tejas Networks bough Israeli technology firm Ethos, which was the first acquisition of an Israeli hi-tech company by an Indian company. Ethos Networks helps service providers migrate their legacy metro transport network to Carrier Ethernet, enabling operational simplicity and cost-effectiveness. The Israeli operations focuses on Tejas' product offerings in the packet optical space and enhance its future proof transport architecture solution. The center was closed in November 2018.
