Solar-powered Water Purification
SunDWater developed a system that utilizes natural resources to power the unit and purify contaminated water. One SunD unit is capable of purifying 250 liters of water per 10 hours of sunlight. Its design facilitates scalable and customizable solutions for the target population. Twenty units would generate five liters of clean water per person in a town of 1,000 people. The SunD unit has a heliostatic design that will follow the sun for optimal exposure. Activating the machine is as simple as pressing a few buttons, and it can be operated remotely. Daily maintenance is a simple two-step process.
