About

High-altitude Pseudo-satellite for High-resolution Aerial Imagery

Strasa Technologies is delivering an autonomous fleet of high-altitude pseudo-satellite platforms for delivering high-resolution imagery of up to 5 cm GSD. Additionally, the company will provide the service of flying partner payloads for long duration missions, such as communication services in rural areas. The solar-powered platform hovers in the lower stratosphere, almost 2 times higher than commercial aviation. It can stay afloat for one year and uses a sophisticated artificial intelligence to exploit stratospheric wind layers together with wind corrections to navigate the globe efficiently. Strasa Technologies is a spin-off company of Atlas LTA.
