StoreDot specializes in the development of extreme fast charging (XFC) battery technology for electric vehicles, aimed at reducing charging times to support broader EV adoption. Notably, in April 2024, StoreDot demonstrated a significant advancement with Polestar by successfully conducting a 10-minute charge using silicon-dominant battery cells.
StoreDot has formed strategic partnerships and received investments from several major industry players, including BP, Daimler, VinFast, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Ola Electric, Samsung, TDK, and EVE Energy, which collaborate on various aspects of battery development and production.
