Formulex Pharma Innovations continues the activities of SoluBest Ltd in the field of nanotechnology-based drug delivery and formulation. Formulex generates innovative formulation solutions for Israeli and global clients in diversified fields such as biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and agrochemicals. The formulation development is accompanied by full analytical support and stability studies. Formulex has been developing more than 10 medical cannabis products using its patented Solumer and generic technologies. Five of the products are in the clinical and commercial stages. Solumer was developed by Solubest to maximize the solubility, bioavailability, and physical stability of drug substances utilizing sub-micron-particle engineering. The company designed solid dispersion formulations through a proprietary spray drying process. The technology is proven in preclinical and clinical trials to enhance bioavailability and drug substance performance. Formulex is able to develop and produce under GMP conditions oral, topical, and inhaled dosage forms for clinical phases one and two.
