Slyce Inc has developed image-recognition technology deployed via mobileapp. Users photograph an object, barcode, QR code, or coupon, and then Slyce identifies and matches the photograph to products in an online catalog. Results are returned to the user in one to five seconds. Slyce offers its software in the forms of an HTTP API, HTML 5 web widget, as a native SDK, or as a white-label standalone app. Slyce Israel originated with Slyce's acquisition of BuyCode (Pounce) in 2014. The Israeli company offered comparable image-recognition technology. The same team, now Slyce Israel, continues to develop client integration, mobile, web, and core technologies for Slyce.
