SICK Sensors Israel (SIL) was founded in 2006. The Company is located in Tzur Yigal Industrial Park and has 29 employees. SIL offers a range of comprehensive solutions & consulting, starting from the characterizing and planning of products and projects to final installation of the products and solutions at the client's plant.

SICK Israel also has an R&D and production department for capacitive encoders as a result of the 2006 acquisition of Netzer Precision Motion Sensors, a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality performance position encoders. Netzer continues to develop its Electric Encoder proprietary technology, which has a broad range of applications such as defense, homeland security, aerospace, and instrumentation motion control requirements.
