ShanenLi is a personal tutor app that guides users in reading, reciting, and memorizing. Currently featuring four tractates of the Mishna with professional voice accompaniment, the app will expand to include any personalized text. Parallel delivery tracks via web, iOS, WhatsApp, and more are being developed. ShanenLi applies methodology used in Mishna Sdura textbooks used daily by thousands.
Each line lights up when it is read by the app, helping the user listen and follow along. When proficient, the user reads aloud and ShanenLi listens. A proprietary algorithm compares the speech with the text. Errors in recitation are marked in color to enable self-correction.
Users earn stars according to their score, along with sound effects and words of encouragement. Users can share their progress with others. Teacher insights build on detailed data from the dashboard to guide student progress, saving time and money.
