AI-Enhanced Remote Maritime Pilotage System
RemPi specializes in remote maritime pilotage, enabling pilots to guide vessels from control rooms or through virtual reality (VR) headsets. This system eliminates the need for pilots to board ships physically, allowing them to manage multiple vessels seamlessly.
The technology streams video and navigational data directly from the ship to the pilot. Specialized drones deliver equipment to the vessel, with installation completed in approximately 15 minutes. Cameras mounted on the ship provide full visibility in compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards and are enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) features, such as object recognition and low-visibility capabilities for conditions like fog or nighttime operations. Each camera module includes Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS for accurate positioning and heading information.
