About

Intercity Delivery Service

Quay Express has developed a technology that allows the transfer of parcels in a city within a few hours for only $2 to $3, enabling affordable, same-day intercity deliveries. Traditional shipping services use the hub and spoke paradigm, which is very effective in line haul but cannot serve the same-day delivery needs of eCommerce, in which the last mile becomes very complex. At the same time, many same-day delivery services operate from point to point, and are therefore very expensive. Quay uses Physical Internet, a paradigm that utilizes the same logic of data networks in the physical transportation and logistics world. Quay aims to use the Physical Internet as a mesh network for deliveries, as it is fast and maintains shipping efficiency. A mesh network offers a middle path between the point to point and hub and spoke paradigms, enabling same-day delivery at a very low cost.
